On July 7th, iGEEKPHONE reported that a developer discovered the REDMI K90 series in the GSMA database. This is the annual flagship created by REDMI’s general manager Wang Teng.
It is reported that the REDMI K90 series includes two models: K90 and K90 Pro. The corresponding overseas versions are Xiaomi POCO F8 and POCO F8 Ultra respectively.
Specifically, the REDMI K90 model is 2510DRK44C, with the code name Annibale, and is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (Snapdragon 8 Ultra) processor. The REDMI K90 Pro model 25102RKBEC, code-named Myron, is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor.

Among them, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 is a brand-new flagship platform that Qualcomm will launch in September this year. It is manufactured based on TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process N3P and adopts the second-generation self-developed Oryon CPU architecture. Its GeekBench 6 single-core score is expected to exceed 4000 points, and its multi-core score is expected to exceed 11,000 points. Among them, the multi-core performance is very likely to exceed that of the A19 Pro.
For comparison, the single-core score of the Snapdragon 8 Elite is around 3100, and the multi-core score is around 9800. Therefore, the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will be the most powerful mobile phone chip in the industry.

In addition, the REDMI K90 series is equipped with a 2K straight screen as standard across the board. It is expected to support ultrasonic screen fingerprint recognition. The Pro version will also be equipped with a periscope telephoto lens for the first time. The blogger Digital Chat Station claims that the imaging of the REDMI K90 Pro will undergo an epic upgrade.
As is customary, the REDMI K90 series will make its debut in October this year.
