MediaTek has focused heavily on its new one Dimensity 1000L. That we find on Oppo Reno 3 and will do the same with Dimensity 800 which can be mounted on a device Redmi soon. To predict it is Lu Weibing via Weibo. And now, frequent leaker Digital Chat Station has taken to Weibo to claim that Redmi will first launch MediaTek Dimensity 800.
Previously, it was reported that Redmi Note 9 is the first model, that will carry MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor. This SoC is built with a 7nm lithographic process, which is equivalent to premium processors. It also comes with a modem 5G for the latest generation connection.
On a technical level, it has one Octa-core CPU which includes 4 Cortex-A76 cores and 4 Cortex-A55 cores. These all set to 2.0 GHz, integrated with Mali G57MP4 GPU, embedded 5G Helio M70 modem and support 5G dual-carrier aggregation. Moreover, it supports a display of up to 90Hz refresh rate.
In addition, the Redmi Note 9 may also feature an OLED display that supports fingerprint recognition under the screen. The refresh rate is not 60Hz and may support 22.5W flash charging.
Of course, the Redmi Note 9 series has very competitive prices. Considering that Redmi K30 5G price was less than 2000 yuan (US$283). So the starting price of the Redmi Note 9 may be around 1500 yuan (US$212) and may debut in next month.
