Redmi Note 8 Nebula Purple Color Variant Launched In China

Just today, the Chinese giant Xiaomi launched sales of an updated version of its super-popular budget phone, namely Redmi Note 8. Already in the Chinese market is available budget Redmi Note 8 in an upgraded case Star Cloud Purple. Thus, the back of the smartphone turned purple with tints.

It is noted that the case change was the only current update of Redmi Note 8. So, the cost of the device remained unchanged – a modification with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal costs 999 yuan (about $142), while a version with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory costs 1099 (equal to $156).

This smartphone was first launched in China in three color variants. After this new color variant, now this smartphone has become available in four color variants in China. It is expected to go on sale in India also in the coming days.

Technical characteristics of the device remained the same, Redmi Note 8 features a 6.3-inch waterdrop style notch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protected on both sides. The smartphone comes with a 90% screen-to-body ratio with Snapdragon 665 SoC.

The back of the smartphone has a quad-camera setup as well as a physical fingerprint sensor. The quad-camera setup included in this smartphone has a 48MP Samsung GM-1 primary camera sensor set. Apart from this, the other three cameras include an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It has a 13MP camera sensor for selfie and video calling.

The Redmi Note 8 powered by a 4000mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC are also included in this smartphone for connectivity. Apart from this, the USB Type-C port is provided for data transfer and charging. The Redmi Note 8 has also a 3.5mm audio jack.
