Igeekphone News on August 4th: According to the blogger @Smart Pikachu’s revelation, the REDMI Turbo 5 has been accelerated and is expected to be released in December this year.
It is reported that the previous generation REDMI Turbo 4 was released in January this year, initially equipped with the Dimensity 8400-Ultra, with a starting price of 1,999 yuan.
This time, REDMI Turbo 5 also made its debut with Mediatek’s sub-flagship chip, becoming the world’s first model to feature the Dimensity 8500.

It is reported that the Dimensity 8500 chip continues to adopt a full-core architecture, with an Antutu benchmark score exceeding 2 million points, and its overall performance is close to that of the Snapdragon 8 Gen3.
In addition to performance upgrades, the REDMI Turbo 5 will also be upgraded to a metal frame and a large R corner design, significantly enhancing the texture and aligning with the Pro.
The screen remains a 6.6-inch 1.5K design, and the overall appearance is still minimalist. It is expected to maintain a dual-camera setup.
This device will also be equipped with a large-capacity battery of over 7000mAh, significantly enhancing its battery life.
