Igeekphone reported on April 17th that the technology media Android Headline published a blog post yesterday (April 16th), sharing a set of renderings that showcased the Samsung Galaxy A27 smartphone. In terms of appearance, the biggest change of this device lies in abandoning the previous design where the front camera was integrated with the frame, and instead adopting a punch-hole screen design.
The new model is equipped with a 6.7-inch display and has a body size of 162.3 x 78.6 x 7.9 millimeters. The back design features a triple camera module and is equipped with an LED flash. The battery capacity is 5000mAh and it supports 25W wireless charging.

Igeekphone previously reported that the Galaxy A27 has already appeared in the GeekBench benchmark database. The page indicates that the device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip, paired with an Adreno 710 GPU, 6GB of memory, and runs the Android 16 system.

Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 is an entry-level 5G chip released by Qualcomm in September 2024. It adopts Samsung’s 4nm process and features an 8-core design consisting of 4 2.4GHz A78 cores and 4 1.8GHz A55 cores.

For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A26 smartphone uses Samsung’s self-developed Exynos 1380 chip (released in 2023), featuring 4 2.4GHz Cortex-A78 cores and 4 2.0GHz A55 cores (an 8-core architecture), integrating the Mali-G68 MP5 GPU, supporting a 144Hz refresh rate, 20-megapixel photography, and UFS 3.1 storage.
