Review of the Syma X20 – A 2.4G 4CH 6Axis Headless Mode RC Quacopter

The Syma X20 keeps the well known design met at the X8SW, but in a much smaller size. The biggest advantage of this new mini drone over larger models is that can be used for outdoor as well as for indoor flights.

The Syma X20 comes out in two color version, one white and one black. Both version come with white propellers and blade protectors. The X20 is made of lightweight airframe with nice durability. The quadcopter doesn’t have a camera. Uses the 2.4GHz frequency for control and has 4 channels. Comes with 6 axis the gyroscope. The size of the X20 is 10.5 x 10.5 x 2.5cm.

The Syma X20 features Altitude hold mode which can set the desired height and remain at this altitude. Features also headless mode so is much easier to control it, specially for beginners, since you don’t have to adjust the position of aircraft before flying. With the 6 axis that features, the quadcopter is much more stable, with stronger wind resistance, and more easy to control. The X20 features also One Key Take off & Landing. With this key the X20 with one press automatically will take off or land. When is asked to land, will land at the position where started. The X20 features also lights for night flying. You can control the quadcopter up to 20 meters away.

The Syma X20 is equipped with a 3.7V 180mAh Li-poly. The transmitter needs 4 x AA batteries in order to function. In order to fully charge the batteries you will need about 50 mins and the you can fly the quadcopter for about 5 minutes.

The Syma X20, keeps a well known design, in smaller size so you can work with inside and outside of home. Very beautiful, with many features at a very low price. I have found it at Banggood for only 23.99$, so go over there to get it cheap!
