Igeekphone News, June 24th: It’s time for Samsung to hold its “Unpacked” event again. Samsung’s third press conference of this year (the first two were held in January and May respectively) will be held at 10 a.m. Eastern Time on July 9th (Igeekphone Note: 10 p.m. Beijing time on July 9th). The press conference will be held in Brooklyn, New York, and will be live-streamed through the Samsung News Center, the Samsung official website and its YouTube channel.
Samsung stated in the event preview that this Unpacked event will showcase “the next stage of development of Galaxy AI and the continuously expanding Galaxy ecosystem”. Given that Samsung usually launches its latest foldable phones in summer, it is widely expected that the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 will make their debut at this event. In addition, a picture released with the invitation to the event and the words “Ultra Unfolds” in the preview video suggest that the rumored Galaxy Z Fold Ultra is also highly likely to make an appearance.
Apart from foldable screen phones, the new Galaxy Watch seems very likely to make its debut as well. Meanwhile, there are rumors that Samsung might showcase the Galaxy S25 FE, which is expected to be released later this year, in advance at this event. What is even more anticipated is that the Android XR headset jointly developed by Samsung and Google is also planned to be launched this year. This Unpacked event may be an excellent opportunity for Samsung to announce the details of this device.
