Not for long, on February 20 Samsung will introduce us to its first foldable smartphone: Galaxy F which has been certified by CMIIT ( China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). This certification came a month before the company’s official announcement and did not reveal much information about the device that was registered as SM F9000.
Although it has been certified in China and is expected to be released first in the Chinese market, the certification file does not place any letter that specifies where the device will be made available. To be sure, the device needed to be registered as SM F9000 A, for example, which indicates that it would be ready for the Asian market, each location has a specific letter.
The slogan that Samsung is using to advertise the folding smartphone is “The future doubles. ” It will have two possible screen sizes, 4.5 inches, or 7.3 inches, when fully open, in “tablet” format.
There are some rumors that Samsung’s foldable smartphone will come with 512GB of internal storage and will be equipped with Qualcomm’s SoC, Snapdragon 855, which allows the 5G connection. It is also possible that the battery is up to 6000mAh, it makes sense for the battery to be large since the screens must consume a lot of energy.
The official announcement of Galaxy F is due Feb. 20 in San Francisco, so there is still no availability and value information. Some information says that this model will be experimental and limited to only 1000 units, and can cost more than $1800.
