Igeekphone news on February 14, news source PandaFlash released a series of tweets on the X platform on February 12, revealing that Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra mobile phone battery capacity of up to 5500mAh, and in the next 2 to 3 years will not be equipped with a screen camera.
Battery
There have been rumors that the Galaxy S26 Ultra mobile phone will be equipped with 7000mAh large battery, but the latest news said that the battery capacity of the machine will not reach 7000mAh, or even 6000mAh, and the test data of Samsung test lab is up to 5500mAh.
While a reduction from the rumored 7000mAh, the 5500mAh battery capacity is still a significant upgrade for Samsung’s flagship phone, and the typical value capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra battery is 5000mAh.
Things could be even better if Samsung adopts the next generation of silicon carbon battery technology next year. Compared with lithium-ion batteries, the capacity of silicon carbon batteries is at least 10% higher, and the capacity is increased while maintaining the same size.
Like Apple, Samsung is prioritizing software optimization to improve efficiency. The company is making changes to the One UI and background app processes to improve the battery life of Galaxy phones.
Under screen camera
The source also revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra phone will not be equipped with an under-screen camera, the technology is not yet mature, and there are low resolution and quality issues.
Samsung doesn’t want to compromise on the image quality of its selfie camera. Therefore, the under-screen camera will remain a dream feature until the technology matures and the technical hurdles are cleared.
