Reports indicate that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 is now available in two sizes, 44mm and 40mm. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic offers two more extensive options, measuring 43mm and 47mm.
The Watch6 series boasts a Super AMOLED display featuring a sapphire crystal protective layer. Under the hood, it is powered by a new Exynos W930 chipset, offering a remarkable 18% increase in maximum frequency, now running at 1.4 GHz—the device has 2 GB of memory and a generous internal storage capacity of 16 GB. Additionally, there’s an LTE version with an integrated eSIM module for added connectivity. Regarding health-related features, the Watch6 series includes a skin temperature sensor and a heart rate monitor. This combination provides highly accurate and detailed readings for various health indicators, sleep analysis, and other health-related functions.
Samsung proudly claims that the Watch 6 series is the only smartwatch supporting a comprehensive suite of health-tracking features. This suite encompasses the likes of an electrocardiogram, heart rate and heart rate alerts, blood pressure monitoring, menstrual cycle prediction, and fall detection.
Battery life for the Galaxy Watch 6 is impressive, thanks to the built-in 425mAh battery. With the screen turned on, it can last up to 30 hours; with the screen turned off, it extends to 40 hours. The watch also holds an IP68 certification, allowing it to withstand water submersion of up to 50 meters (5ATM).
As for the pricing details, the early adopter price for the standard Watch6 is 1899 yuan, while the Classic version is available at a higher early adopter price of 2799 yuan. The pricing for the LTE version of the Watch6 series is yet to be disclosed and will be announced later.
