Igeekphone News, November 27th: The technology media Android Authority published a blog post yesterday (November 26th), reporting that the string “Super Fast Charging 3.0” appeared in the system code of One UI 8.5. It further implies that the Galaxy S26 Ultra phone will support 60W fast charging.
Igeekphone, citing blog posts, introduced that Samsung’s Charging technology system is currently divided into two levels. Taking the Galaxy S25 series as an example, the standard model supports 25W charging, which Samsung named “Super Fast Charging”. The more advanced Plus and Ultra models support 45W Charging and are named “Super Fast Charging 2.0”.

In the leaked code of One UI 8.5, in addition to clearly marking these two known Charging levels, the system also added the previously unseen “level 4” charging level and explicitly named it “Super Fast Charging 3.0”.
The media pointed out that although the code itself does not directly indicate the specific charging power value, based on Samsung’s existing naming logic (i.e., the larger the number, the faster the speed), it can be reasonably inferred that version 3.0 will offer a charging speed faster than 45W.
Combined with previous related leaks, this media has reasons to believe that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will upgrade the Fast Charging experience. The newly discovered “Super Fast Charging 3.0” is highly likely to be the official marketing name prepared by Samsung for the 60W charging technology.
