Sony is Preparing Professional Cinema Cameras in China: Will Be Released on February 23

Sony China’s official Weibo post tonight to warm up the new members of the “Sony Cinema Camera System”. Three movie cameras are shown in the poster, with decreasing volume. The three new cameras will be officially released at 23:00 on February 23, 2021. As can be seen in the poster, the three cameras have a matte grey surface. This is a feature of Sony’s new Cinema Line series of cameras. The camera on the far right is similar to the FX6. Sony’s previously exposed FX3 mirrorless camera also uses a similar grey matte surface.

Sony FX6 supports 4K/120p 4:2:2 10bit shooting. Compared with civilian products, the colour record is more complete, the colour gradation is smoother, and it is easy to adjust later. This camera has a compact body design and weighs only 890g without accessories.

According to previously exposed information, Sony FX3 will be equipped with a 12-megapixel full-frame sensor, built-in CMOS anti-shake, and support 4K/120fps video shooting, but not 8K video.

Sony FX3 is equipped with a built-in heat sink and fan to prevent overheating. The product has a dust-proof and moisture-proof design is made of a magnesium alloy body and has dual CFexpress Type A card slots. The product is priced at 4,800 yuan.
