iGeekphone News, February 6th: Sony’s new generation of flagship wireless Bluetooth headphones, WF-1000XM6, is finally set to be launched.
Sony has officially released a teaser, announcing that the next-generation flagship true wireless headphones will be globally launched at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time on February 12th (0:00 a.m. Beijing Time on February 13th).

In the official teaser, although the product silhouette was deliberately blurred, the exposed and adjusted images clearly showed that the appearance featured a cylindrical charging box and an elliptical earphone body. There was a distinct microphone on the side, which was in perfect agreement with the leaked store pictures previously.
In terms of hardware specifications, the WF-1000XM6 is expected to be equipped with the same QN3 or low-power version of QN3e noise cancellation processor as the WH-1000XM6 over-ear headphones. The noise cancellation depth and computational accuracy are expected to be significantly improved.
Meanwhile, its audio restoration technology will also be upgraded from DSEE Extreme to DSEE Ultimate, using AI algorithms to restore the details of compressed audio.
Regarding the controversial foam earplugs of the previous generation, there is currently no unified consensus. Some reports suggest retaining the existing high sound insulation but with a more oppressive feel, while other reports indicate that there will be modifications to the shape and structure to enhance the wearing comfort.
