Today, the official WeChat account of Leica Camera China announced that the black and silver version of Xiaomi 17 Ultra by Leica, jointly created with Xiaomi, will be available for purchase on Leica’s official channels in the near future.
It is introduced that this color scheme was personally designed by a Leica designer. It adheres to the design language of the Leica M series cameras and features an all-black matte back panel with a polished silver frame. The body is engraved with the classic Leica red logo, and the frame is finely engraved with swirl patterns and the inscription “LEICA CAMERA GERMANY”. It is both understated and distinctive.
In terms of details, the Leica logo in black and silver, the Leica text on the rear camera module, and the Xiaomi logo at the bottom have all been arranged vertically.
The Leica version main camera of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is equipped with a 1-inch sensor and utilizes the LOFIC ultra-high dynamic technology. Combined with highly transparent glass lenses, it offers a wider dynamic range and more delicate tonalities.
The 200 million pixel telephoto long-zoom lens adopts a multi-element APO design, enabling continuous optical zoom from 75mm to 100mm. It supports autofocus and optical stabilization.
The Leica version of Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a physical master zoom ring. It adopts a precise mechanical transmission structure, capable of detecting the smallest 0.03mm displacement. Through the precise meshing of gears, it converts the external rotation angle into an accurate digital signal, further enhancing the professional shooting control experience.
