Igeekphone News, December 4th: The technology media Android Authority published a blog post today (December 4th). By mining the system code of One UI 8.5, it was discovered that the battery capacity of the standard version of Galaxy Buds4 has dropped to 42mAh (the previous generation was 48mAh). The Galaxy Buds4 Pro has increased to 57mAh (53mAh in the previous generation), showing a trend of “one increase and one decrease”.

Although the battery capacity of the standard version has decreased, this does not directly equate to a shortened battery life. Looking back at the Galaxy Buds3 series, although its battery capacity (48mAh) is much lower than that of the Buds2 series (61mAh), the actual test data from the professional audio media SoundGuys shows that thanks to more efficient hardware optimization, the single charge battery life of both generations of products remains at around 5 hours. Therefore, even if the capacity of Galaxy Buds slightly decreases, its actual usage time is still expected to remain at the mainstream level.

Regarding the configuration of the earphone charging case, a report previously released by the foreign media Galaxy Club pointed out that Samsung plans to make minor adjustments to it, and it is expected that the battery capacity of the new charging case will increase by approximately 3%.
