Igeekphone News, June 24th: In May this year, the battery upgrade service for the Xiaomi 13 series was officially launched, covering the three models: Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 13 Ultra.
This service is based on official compatibility and involves replacing the batteries of older models with larger ones, thereby achieving a further improvement in battery life.
After the battery upgrade service was launched for the Xiaomi 13 series, many netizens hoped that this service could be extended to more Xiaomi phones.
Today, Xiaomi released the “Xiaomi Battery Upgrade Service Answers User Questions”, in which it was mentioned that support for Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro models is expected to be added in the fourth quarter of 2026. The specific details will be announced by the official.

As a reference, the battery capacities of the Xiaomi 13 series after the upgrade are as follows:
Xiaomi 13: The battery capacity has been upgraded from 4500mAh to 4850mAh, representing an increase of approximately 7.8%.
Xiaomi 13 Pro: The battery capacity has increased from 4820mAh to 5361mAh, representing an increase of approximately 11%.
Xiaomi 13 Ultra: The battery capacity has been upgraded from 5000mAh to 5500mAh, an increase of approximately 10%.
Xiaomi stated that due to the increased capacity of the new battery, the charging speed remains consistent under the same charging power. Therefore, the charging time of the new battery will be longer than that of the old one.
For an old flagship model, the official battery upgrade can be regarded as a “life-saving move”. Without having to replace the entire device, users can increase the battery capacity and thereby significantly improve the battery life.
Adding to the already sufficient performance of Xiaomi’s old flagship models, this service is also expected to further extend the lifespan of older devices and reduce the cost for users to upgrade.
