Igeekphone News, June 17th: Mystic Leaks, a source, disclosed on his Telegram channel yesterday (June 16th) the internal code names of four models in Google’s Pixel 12 series. These models are expected to be launched in 2027.
According to the currently exposed details, the Google Pixel 12 series still includes one base model, two Pro versions and one foldable flagship model. Its code name continues to follow the animal code, inspired by primates.
Previously, Pixel 6 was code-named birds, Pixel 7 was a feline, Pixel 8 was a canine, Pixel 9 was a reptile, Pixel 10 was a horse, Pixel 11 was a bear, and Pixel 12 turned to primates.
Igeekphone, based on the leaked information, attaches the specific codes of the Pixel 12 series as follows:
The code name of the basic model of Pixel 12 is “Galago” (lemur).
The Pixel 12 Pro is code-named “Sasquatch” (Bigfoot).
The code name of Pixel 12 Pro XL is “Silverback” (Silverback Gorilla).
And the Pixel 12 Pro Fold is code-named “Capuchin” (Capuchin monkey).
It is worth noting that three of the code names are based on real animals, while “Sasquatch” is derived from mythical creatures. This naming strategy demonstrates Google’s creativity in product design.
