On December 23rd, Igeekphone reported that Vbot officially launched its first consumer-grade super-powered robot dog product, “Big Head BoBo”, which does not require remote control.
The top speed of the big-headed BoBo can reach 13.3 kilometers per hour (equivalent to a professional marathon pace of 4 minutes and 30 seconds), making it easy to handle daily accompanying tasks.

Its load capacity can reach up to 12 kilograms, and it can even tow objects weighing up to 100 kilograms. Whether it’s short-distance material transportation or towing a small camper van, it’s no problem at all.
To achieve true autonomous movement, Big Head BoBo has built a powerful spatial perception and decision-making system. Its head integrates a 360-degree high-precision lidar, a 360-degree UWB ultra-wideband positioning antenna, a four-microphone array and a dual-eye depth camera, achieving all-round environmental information capture.

The core driving force comes from a computing power platform far exceeding the standards of consumer electronics, with a standard configuration of up to 128 TOPS (12 times that of consumer-grade vacuum cleaners and 3 times that of flagship mobile phones), providing a solid guarantee for running complex real-time environmental models.
Based on its self-developed full-scene spatial base model, Big Head BoBo can deeply analyze the semantic and geometric information of the environment and achieve end-to-end mobile trajectory planning.

Whether it is a rough and irregular dirt path, a crowded park, or a circular railing that requires precise spatial understanding, it can achieve autonomous and smooth passage.
To enhance the human-computer interaction experience, the R&D team innovatively drew on the “12 Rules of Disney Animation” and designed a personified emotional interaction system full of vitality for Big Head BoBo.
Through animation principles such as anticipation, time control, and exaggeration, the robot dog’s head turning, pauses, and gaze all present an emotional logic that conforms to biological intuition, creating a more friendly and natural companionship experience.
In terms of expandability, the Big Head BoBo features a full-function expansion backplate on its back, integrating magnetic interfaces, standard 1/4 screw ports (for easy connection to action cameras and other devices), and a tow hook. It also reserves the compatibility for future robotic arms, meeting the diverse application scenario requirements.
The official price of the Big Head BoBo is 12,988 yuan. Currently, the product has started pre-sale. During the initial release period, users can enjoy the “Founding User Benefit Price” of 9,988 yuan.
