Igeekphone News on November 20th: The vivo S50 series will be released in December. Currently, the new model has entered the preheating stage.
Today, Han Boxiao, the product manager of vivo, announced that the vivo S50 series will be equipped with the second-generation 3D ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, making it the first model in the same price range to be standard across the entire series.
He believes that 3D ultrasonic fingerprints have three major advantages: instant unlocking with wet hands, non-dazzling unlocking in low light, and a higher unlocking position, making it more convenient to use.

It is understood that compared with traditional optical fingerprint solutions, ultrasonic fingerprints have improved in both security and ease of use.
Ultrasonic fingerprints have stronger penetration, excellent resistance to water stains and dirt interference, high recognition rate and support for live detection, providing higher overall security.
In addition to ultrasonic fingerprint recognition, the entire vivo S50 series is equipped with full-level water resistance of IP69+IP68 as standard, allowing the phone to unlock even when it gets wet.
Han Boxiao stated that the vivo S50 series will be a product that redefines the rules of the game.
It is reported that the vivo S50 series includes two models, the S50 and the S50 Pro mini, with sizes of 6.59 inches and 6.31 inches respectively. All models are equipped with periscope telephoto lenses as standard.
Among them, the vivo S50 Pro mini will be the first to be equipped with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8, with a benchmark score of over 3 million points at normal room temperature.
