vivo has officially launched the T5 5G in India, bringing a large 6.83-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate to its T-series lineup. The phone combines the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset with a 7,050mAh battery and a slim 7.99mm body, giving the T5 a strong focus on T-series smartphones, display quality, battery life, and everyday performance.
The vivo T5 5G also adds 44W FlashCharge, a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS, and a 32MP front camera. With its high-capacity battery and high-refresh-rate curved display, the T5 5G is positioned as a feature-rich mid-range phone for users who prioritize long battery life and smooth visuals.
Vivo T5 will feature a 6.83-inch curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display is also rated to reach up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, which should help improve outdoor visibility and make scrolling and animations feel smoother.
Large Battery in a Slim Body
One of the phone’s standout specifications is its 7,050mAh battery. That is considerably larger than the batteries found in many mainstream smartphones, suggesting that vivo is placing a strong emphasis on endurance.

Despite packing such a large battery, the T5 is listed at just 7.99mm thick. If the final retail design maintains that measurement without making the phone excessively heavy, it could offer an interesting balance between battery capacity and everyday portability.
Under the hood, the device will reportedly be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. While vivo has not yet revealed every hardware detail, the processor should position the T5 as a performance-focused option within the company’s T-series lineup.
Two Color Options
vivo will reportedly offer the T5 in two finishes: Royal Copper and Silver Green. The color choices give the phone a more distinctive appearance compared with the increasingly common black, blue and gray finishes seen across the smartphone market.
The curved display should also contribute to a more premium visual design, particularly when combined with the relatively slim 7.99mm body.
Possible Connection to the iQOO Z11
Interestingly, the vivo T5 appears to share a close relationship with with iQOO Z11 Indian model.
The iQOO Z11 Indian model is known to feature 44W wired charging and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera, raising the possibility that the two phones could share parts of their hardware platform or specifications.
However, vivo has not yet confirmed the full specifications of the T5, so it would be premature to assume that the two models are identical.
