Igeekphone reported on June 8th that Han Bixiao, the product manager of Vivo Communication Technology Co., Ltd., announced today that the Vivo X Fold 6 foldable phone will be released in June.
According to Huang Tao, the vice president of vivo products, the vivo X Fold6 folding phone will introduce a brand-new OriginOS 6 Fold. Centering around the large folding screen and AI productivity, it will bring about a brand-new atomic workspace, AI assistant, dual-device companion, as well as continuous upgrades to the end-side AI capabilities and AI interaction experience.

According to the official released poster, the foldable screen of vivo X Fold 6 has upgraded the atomic workspace, providing a wider main task view, higher utilization rate of split-screen layout, and an 15% increase in display area.
According to blogger @DigitalXiaolianTian Station, who revealed earlier this month, “Blue Fold” is tentatively scheduled for the second half of June. Its key features include the current-generation flagship chip Tianji 9500 + a 7K-level large battery + a 2-billion-pixel large sensor for imaging + a 50Mp mid-range telephoto lens + a slim and lightweight body. Based on this blogger’s previous pattern of revelations, it is expected to be part of the vivo X Fold6 series of mobile phones.
For reference, the current model of vivo X Fold5 smartphone was released in June 2025. It is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor, features a lightweight and thin body design weighing 217g, and is equipped with a 6000mAh blue ocean battery. The list price starts at 6999 yuan.
