iGEEKPHONE News: vivo has officially opened pre-orders for the vivo X300E in China, unveiling its latest premium smartphone without hosting a dedicated launch event. Instead, the company quietly revealed the device’s specifications and pricing, positioning the X300E as a performance-focused flagship that combines Qualcomm’s latest mobile platform with an advanced ZEISS camera system.

The smartphone starts at 4,799 yuan for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the 12GB + 512GB version is priced at 5,299 yuan.

    Pricing and Color Options

The vivo X300E is available in three finishes:

    • Sun Orange
    • Moon White
    • Star Night Black

Among the new color options, Sun Orange stands out with its vibrant appearance, giving the device a distinctive identity within vivo’s flagship lineup.

    Redesigned Camera Module

Compared with the standard vivo X300, the X300E introduces a refreshed rear design.

The circular camera module used on previous models has been replaced with a compact square camera island, creating a cleaner and more minimalist aesthetic. The redesigned camera housing contributes to a more refined look while maintaining the premium styling expected from the X-series.

Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 5

One of the biggest upgrades is the inclusion of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 flagship processor.

Manufactured using TSMC’s advanced 3nm process, the chipset features Qualcomm’s custom Oryon CPU architecture, including:

    • Two high-performance prime cores clocked at 3.8GHz
    • Six performance cores running at 3.32GHz
    • Adreno 840 GPU
    • Hexagon NPU for on-device AI acceleration

According to Qualcomm, compared with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 delivers:

    • 36% higher CPU performance
    • 11% faster GPU performance
    • 46% improved AI processing
    • 13% lower overall SoC power consumption

These improvements promise stronger flagship performance while enhancing energy efficiency for demanding workloads and AI-powered applications.

    ZEISS Triple-Camera System

Photography remains one of the vivo X300E’s key selling points.

The smartphone features a triple-camera system co-engineered with ZEISS, consisting of:

    • 50MP ZEISS ultra-sensitive main camera
    • 50MP ZEISS super telephoto camera
    • 8MP ultra-wide camera

The combination is designed to deliver high-quality imaging across a wide range of shooting scenarios, from landscapes to long-distance photography.

vivo also highlights its proprietary imaging algorithms, which are optimized for challenging environments such as concerts and live performances, allowing users to capture clearer photos even under complex lighting conditions.

    Multiple Film-Inspired Photography Styles

To enhance creative photography, the vivo X300E includes several built-in film simulation modes inspired by classic photographic aesthetics.

    Available styles include:

    • Spotlight
    • Rich
    • Cool White
    • Negative
    • Positive
    • Texture
    • Black & White

These presets allow users to apply cinematic color grading and artistic effects with a single tap, making it easier to create distinctive images without third-party editing software.

    Display and Battery

The vivo X300E is equipped with a 6.59-inch display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, providing smooth animations and an enhanced gaming experience.

Battery life is another highlight, with the device packing a 7,200mAh battery that supports 90W wired fast charging, enabling extended usage alongside rapid recharging.

    Premium Hardware

Beyond its flagship processor and camera system, the vivo X300E also includes several premium hardware features:

    • 12GB LPDDR5X RAM
    • UFS 4.1 storage
    • Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner
    • 50MP front-facing camera

Despite its large battery, the phone maintains a slim profile, measuring just 7.79mm thick and weighing 199.5 grams, striking a balance between portability and long-lasting endurance.

Vivo X300E strengthens vivo’s premium smartphone portfolio by combining Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform with a versatile ZEISS imaging system, a large 7,200mAh battery, and a smooth 144Hz display.
