One more day, Xiaomi puts a new charger for sale in China, this time it comes with 50W and with more novelties than what a simple smartphone charger offers. Xiaomi’s new 50W charger is named Xiaomi 50W 2-in-1 charger/power bank (1A1C). So as you may have read, we find a 2-in-1 charger with a built-in battery.
In detail we are facing a 77.6 × 73.3 × 31.6mm charger equipped with two USB sockets: a classic USB A with a maximum output of 27W of power, and a USB Type-C with a maximum charging power of no less than 45W.
Beyond that, the really surprising thing is that it contains a battery of no less than 6700mAh. A charger that also adds a Power Bank inside, allowing us to charge our smartphone at a charging power of up to 18W. In addition to its compact design, this new Xiaomi charger adds a retractable system to its power outlet. This ensures a more comfortable and above all, safe transport.
Beyond that, this new charger allows us to charge small gadgets thanks to its intelligent charging. In addition to providing plug-in up to 45W of power, its charge is automatically regulated according to the device we connect.
The rest, as is usual, we find a charger made of highly resistant ABS material, which adds various safety systems inside it against electrical problems such as short circuits or over-current.
The new Xiaomi 50W 2-in-1 charger/power bank will go on sale on June 1 at a price of just 169 yuan, (about $23.61). At the moment it is not expected to be released to the global market, although it is most likely that we will see it days later through the main resellers.
