Xiaomi Youpin has launched a new product in the form of the Showsee A8, a high-speed hairdryer with intelligent temperature control capable of reaching 55ºC. Xiaomi Showsee A8 Hair Dryer comes at a crowdfunding price of 399 yuan ($56). At the moment it is only sold in China although it is likely that we will see it soon in the main resellers.
In detail, Xiaomi Showsee A8 hairdryer has a size of 75x126x275mm and a weight of just 589 grams that greatly facilitates its use.
Among the characteristics of this new hairdryer, we find a power of 1,800W with intelligent temperature control. In turn, it has an ion concentration of up to 20,000 per cubic cm capable of improving frizz, facilitating styling itself.
Beyond its power, this new dryer for sale in the Xiaomi Youpin store has a high volume of air generated by a brushless motor capable of reaching 90,000rpm. This in turn generates a maximum noise of 75dB and according to the manufacturer has a useful life of more than 1,000 hours.
Its laboratory-measured drying rate is 5.88, a much better rate than the average of 4.7 that most traditional hair dryers usually have. This is achieved thanks to a 13-blade fan capable of generating airflow at a speed of 17m /s. Beyond that, Xiaomi Showsee A8 Hair Dryer features a hot/cold air unlock button and 3 airspeed speeds. At the same time, its structure has a coating in UV antifouling paint that improves its grip and facilitates cleaning.
