Xiaomi today launched its POCO M5 in India, powered by Mediatek’s G99 processor and priced from Rs 12,499, or about RMB1,100, $159.
Launched this year, Mediatek’s Helio G99 is built on TSMC’s 6nm process and comes with two Cortex-A76 cores at up to 2.2ghz and six Cortexa-55 cores at up to 2GHz. The GPU is Mali-G57 MC2. The Helio G99 supports 108MP cameras but does not support 5G connectivity.

Xiaomi POCO M5 has a 6.58-inch FHD+ 90Hz screen, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 50-megapixel main rear camera, a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charge, Bluetooth 5.3 support, and a faux leather back shell.
