Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro Received MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition


Xiaomi is continuing the rollout of MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition at full speed. While there were some issues with the update for the POCO F3, Xiaomi has now focused on the Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro. And there don’t seem to be any problems, at least none have been known yet. The update is now being distributed globally to both models. Of course, there are a few improvements and bug fixes on board.

The update for both models is called V12.5.4.0.RJDMIXM, which contains the security patch from August 2021. According to Xiaomi’s changelog, MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition improves performance compared to MIUI 12.5 in four areas:

  • Dynamic allocation of system resources based on specific scenes.
  • More efficient use of RAM.
  • Core System Enhancements … to get the most out of the flagship hardware specifications.
  • Refined storage mechanisms to keep system performance alive and responsive over time ”.

V12.5.4.0.RJDMIXM Changelog

  • Memory usage issues when loading animation was displayed.
  • Using face unlock and fingerprint unlock at the same time resulted in crashes in some cases.
  • Lock screen notifications disappeared after a call ended.
  • Lock screen items were not showing when super wallpapers and themes were combined.
  • Notifications did not display correctly when the app lock was used.
  • Cleaner animations were not displayed correctly.
  • The notification shade could not be opened in some cases.
  • Problems with permissions after missed calls.
  • Player controls were not always appearing in the notification bar.
  • Notifications were not always displayed correctly when using “wake up”.
  • Buttons were not always displaying correctly in notifications when the dark mode was enabled.

In addition, V12.5.4.0.RJDMIXM for Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro adds new fingerprint options, optimizes third-party theme compatibility for MIUI notification shadow, and optimizes dark mode for notifications. In addition, the update contains nearly a dozen bug fixes.
