Xiaomi Mi Box 4 and 4C Officially Launched for 349 Yuan, 249 Yuan Respectively

Today, Xiaomi has officially announced the Xiaomi Mi Box 4 and Mi Box 4C devices. The new Android box from Xiaomi has arrived as a successor for the Mi Box 3s from November 2016.

The Mi Box 4 comes with a minimalistic design and sports a white color. The length of the device is 9.5cm and its thickness is 1.6cm. It weighs 145 grams. The Mi Box 4 can be described as Artificial Intelligence enabled set-top box. It is fueled by a 64-bit quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and a penta-core GPU. It come with a Bluetooth enabled voice remote control and carries support for 4K HDR UHD quality and H.265 hardware decoding. The device is also equipped with Dolby +dts audio decoding. It has a sufficient internal storage of 8 GB.

With PathWall AI onboard, the Mi Box 4 is able to understand the users’ TV viewing habits and accordingly recommend various kinds of content. Through AI, users can take advantage of intelligent voice assistant that can identify voices of different ages, search for keywords, launch apps, check weather and calendar updates and more. It also carries support for intelligent error correction and voice-activated smart appliances.

As far as connectivity ports are concerned, the Mi Box 4 features AV for connecting old TV, HDMI, and USB. The Mi Box 4C has the same specs as the Mi Box 4, but the 4C comes in black color and it features 1 GB of RAM. The Mi Box 4 and 4C are respectively priced at 349 Yuan and 249 Yuan. The reservations of both models have started from today at 10 AM and the official sales will begin on Feb. 1
