    Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Vs Redmi Note 5 Battery Life Comparison

    Xiaomi Mi Max 3 released on July 29 and it is a full-screen Smartphone, besides the Redmi Note 5 is also a full-screen handset, that was released on March 16. This is true to the extent that their batteries capacity: 5500ah mAh for the Mi Max 3 and 4000mAh for the Redmi Note 5. So the question is, how has the battery life responded to the increase in power? We compared the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 and Redmi Note 5 battery in detail.

    The first round is to load the “youtube” app on the both Smartphones, keep the video open for 2 hours, and then record the remaining charging between Xiaomi Mi Max 3 and Redmi Note 5.

    One hour after playing the video continuously, the remaining charging percentage of Mi Max 3 and Redmi Note 5 is 90% and 87%, and the temporary difference is not very obvious.

    After two hours of continuous video playback, the remaining percentage of battery life is 80% and 73%, and the temporary difference is not very obvious.

    The second round is to load the “Music Play” app on Mi Max 3 and Redmi Note 5, keep the music open for 2 hours, and then record the remaining power between both Smartphones.

    In the third round, we will open the “Video Recording” software in both Smartphones and keep the video recording for half an hour, then record the remaining battery life between Mi Max 3 and Redmi Note 5.

    After half an hour of continuous video recording, the remaining percentage of battery life is 58% and 38%, and the percentage of remaining power between Mi Max 3 and Redmi Note 5 is already quite different.

    The fourth round is to open a game “Asphalt 8” on the two handsets and then record the remaining battery power between Mi Max 3 and Redmi Note 5.

    One hour after playing the game continuously, the percentage of remaining power of Mi Max 3 and Redmi Note 5 is 36% and 8%, and the percentage of remaining power between Mi Max 3 and Redmi Note 5 is already quite different.

    In the end, the Redmi Note 5 battery life is exhausted for 6 hours and 24 minutes, while the battery life of Mi Max 3 is still strong.

    Lastly, the Mi Max 3 has a battery life of 8 hours and 37 minutes, and the battery life of Redmi Note 5 is about two-thirds of the Mi Max 3. Keep in mind, however, the battery test is just a simplified overview of how long your phone. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is still a fantastic device because it has a large battery.
