We believe that several media resources have been greatly looking forward to the successor of Mi Mix 2, recently we reported that upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will use the Pop-Up camera design just like the Vivo NEX and the chin area will be further reduced. a few hours ago the foreign media has exposed some new live hands-on images of Mi Mix 3 that displays a thin bottom bezels. The leak shows the Mi Mix 3 with nearly negligible bezels on all 4 sides and the physical buttons are disappearing on the front panel. this is nothing new considering the older Mi Mix and Mi Mix 2/2s features the same design approach as well. The alleged device in the images can be seen running MIUI 10, the newest iteration of Xiaomi’s custom skin for its Android devices.
On the other hand, it is reported that as early as 2015, Xiaomi has applied for a similar patent for the Pop-Up camera, integrating the camera + flash device into a separate functional module, and the function module can be lifted and lowered in the fuselage.
As we can see in the leaked images, there’s no any evidence to believe that the device shown in images is actually the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. this is the reason we would suggest you take this new leak with a pinch of salt. keep you updated as any more information will become public.
