This year we have already had an anticipated ration of the Xiaomi Mi Mix, the phones of the Chinese brand that bet to reduce the frames to the maximum for already three generations. It was in the form of the Mi Mix 3 5G, which added the Snapdragon X50 to the model released late last year, but it seems that the next generation is coming. Recently a concept creator released a concept renderings about Mi MIX 4 which uses a very narrow bezel, the front camera is still retained, and on the rear features a triple camera.
On the front, it still retains the high-screen proportion of the design, although it is a high-screen ratio, the upper and lower borders have a little difference. It still retains a certain width in the upper and lower frame parts, but the areas of these upper and lower frame parts have specific design requirements, and it is not impossible to make it narrower.
It retains the dual 24MP + 8MP camera on the front frame. It requires both a full screen and a front camera to be preserved, so the Mi MIX 4 will choose to retain a part of the design of the top border of the screen. In this concept of Mi MIX 4, the 3.5mm headphone jack is missing but it still has the type-C port and there is no 3D face recognition unlock feature. In terms of biometric unlocking, Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will have on-screen fingerprint recognition sensor.
At present, the in -screen fingerprint recognition has gradually become the standard configuration of the flagship Smartphone and it requires the AMOLED screen, so the Mi MIX 4 will inevitably adopt the AMOLED screen.
The number of the rear cameras will also be upgraded accordingly. Xiaomi will add a camera in Mi MIX 4 which becomes it the first triple rear camera phone in MIX series of Xiaomi. At present, the Xiaomi and Redmi series have already released the flagship representative works of the triple rear camera.
To predict the launch date of Mi Mix 4, we can base on the time of the previous Mi Mix generations. Accordingly, the first Mi Mix appeared in October 2016, Mi Mix 2 in September 2017 and Mi Mix 3 is October 2018. Obviously, Xiaomi has a habit of introducing new Mi Mix at the end of the year.
Some rumors suggest that Mi Mix 4 will be revealed sometime in November this year, but it does not rule out the possibility of a premature launch. Let us wait for the latest information as well as Mi Mix 4’s actual leak image in the future to confirm the authenticity of this news.
