Today, blogger @digital Chat revealed the specs of Mi MIX FOLD 2. Like the Mi MIX FOLD, the mi MIX FOLD 2 is book-sized and has an 8-inch interior screen, not too different from the iPad Mini’s 8.3-inch screen, and a 6.5-inch exterior.
According to @digital Chat, the crease of Mi MIX FOLD 2 is significantly improved compared to its predecessor, and both the inner and outer screens support high refresh rate, which makes up for the regret of the Mi MIX FOLD (the internal refresh rate of the MI MIX FOLD is 60Hz).
In terms of core specs, Mi MIX FOLD 2 will likely be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 processor, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus processor.
Snapdragon 8 Plus is based on TSMC’s 4nm process, while the Snapdragon 8 is based on Samsung’s 4nm process. Both processors are a “1+3+4” tri-core architecture, consisting of the hypercore Cortex X2, the large core Cortex A710, and the small core Cortex A510.
It will be released in the middle of this year, and given the initial price of the MIX FOLD is 9,999 yuan, $1587, the Mi MIX FOLD 2 is likely to cost around 10,000 yuan,$1587.3.
