Design and Display
Xiaomi MI Pad 4 uses metal design, when it comes to its size, MI Pad 4 is more compact than MI Pad 3, although they are similar in length, MI pad 4 seems to be narrower and lighter, and MI Pad 4 has two colors, black and golden, while mi pad 3 only has golden color.

In software, Xiaomi MI Pad 4 can run MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS, which MI Pad 3 uses MIUI 8 based on Android Marshmallow OS.
In battery, Xiaomi MI Pad 4 is built in 6,000mAh battery, while MI Pad 3 has 6,600mAh battery, although MI pad 4 battery capacity is smaller, it uses higher efficient 14nm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, it is pity that they both can not support quick charge.
Camera
