Xiaomi announced yesterday that on July 2 it will present the new Mi TV Master Series, its high-end televisions. But we will not have to wait until Thursday to know all its details because some of its specifications have appeared in a leak. The new Xiaomi Mi TV Master Series supports OLED, 120Hz, Gaming, Dolby Atmos, and so on.
Now everyone is more concerned about the price and recently a Chinese blog was informed that the partner @潘九堂 of Xiaomi Industrial Investment Department said on Weibo that the “Super Master” series of the first ultra-high-end product of Xiaomi Mi TV is equipped with an OLED screen for the first time, plus various top-end hardware and software technologies.
About the price, the cost of a 65-inch OLED screen is almost five times higher than an LCD, so the price is generally more than 20,000 yuan. It is estimated that the master is another TV with a price of 19,999 yuan in the Xiaomi system. I guess the estimate below 15,999 yuan is disappointing.
The new Xiaomi Mi TV Master Series will offer a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a feature that promises to make them a perfect option for gamers or fans to enjoy movies in their highest quality, the Asian giant did not offer more details about its new Smart TVs.
In addition to having OLED panels, Dolby Atmos Audio, and a gaming mode, the leak reveals that they will offer support for HDMI 2.1, remote control by NFC, Dolby Vision, VRR (Variable Refresh Rating, an adaptive refresh technology) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode, a function that reduces latency). Under the hood, Xiaomi’s new OLED TVs will feature a custom quad-core A73 processor that supports all HDR formats.
So far the data provided by the leak goes, but as always when we talk about rumors, we can’t take anything for granted until the company makes the official announcement. Next Thursday we will know all the details thoroughly.
