After the one week of the announcement, today Xiaomi has officially presented Mijia Smart Air Conditioner for sale, which is priced at 2599 Yuan (approximately $376). Initially, from today, this Smart Air Conditioner will be available for purchase at a discount of 100 Yuan ($14.57), effectively costing 2499 Yuan (about $362). From 29th December, it will be available at its original pricing of 2599 Yuan ($376).
The new Mijia Smart Air Conditioner is a 1.5-ton split-wall air-conditioning system that reaches users all over the world along with state-of-the-art continuous air frequency conversion technology. Similarly, like most of the products belonging to this great Chinese company, the device can be controlled through Mijia application, as well as Xiaomi’s voice control.
On the other hand, after optimizing the design of the internal circuit and advanced performance management algorithms, the APF of this air conditioner is 4.75. In order to better understand the high efficiency of this product, it is worth noting that the national standard for energy efficiency is 4.5 APF. With this energy efficiency, users can get much better performance with less power consumption. In addition, the company also confirmed that the device meets all “green” energy certificates.
With regard to the design of the Mijia Smart Air Conditioner, Xiaomi has decided to continue with the simple yet contemporary design that characterizes the device, which guarantees the adaptation and integration of the device in every room and in all modern homes. The company also claims to have received the “G-Mark Gold Award in Japan” thanks to the very good work done in this air conditioner.
On the other hand, it has aaroundLED light located at the bottom right corner of the front panel, which also shows the room temperature. Xiaomi says this light is made of high-quality ABS material resistant to different temperatures.
Speaking a bit about the accuracy of the device, it allows users to accurately control the temperature of the Mijia Smart Air Conditioner, along with air speed, dehumidifier switch, volume switch, and LED brightness among others which one can do. Also, this intelligent air conditioner is compatible with full flow airflow control, including rotation angle control. Finally, as mentioned above, this Smart Air Conditioner released by Mijia supports control via voice commands, all thanks to the use of Xiao Ai.
