Today Xiaomi has released its full view display smartphone, Redmi S2 at Suning Headquarter in Nanjing. Xiaomi claims that Redmi S2 is the best Redmi phone to take selfies claimed by Xiaomi. ‘S’ stands for Suning, meaning the product is created by them together. This smartphone is the one aiming at new retailer.
After the press conference starts, Xiaomi introduces its importance for Redmi S2. In camera specs, Redmi S2 has 16MP front camera, taking selifes under its dark environment supports 2μm large pixel 4in1, making photos even brighter, meanwhile, it supprts softlight to take selfies, the front camera comes with HDR, AI portrait mode, and AI cosmetic beautification.
Redmi S2 uses 5.99 inch 18:9 full view display, ultra-thin design, perfectly compatible with your hands, at the bottom it has full symmertical design, offering rose golden, champagne golden and silver grey.
As for its key specs, it is powered by Snapdragon 625 Octa core processor, RAM 3GB ROM 32GB internal storage, and 4GB+64GB two versions, adopting 2+1 SIM card slot, (two SIM card slot and one Micro-SD slot using at the same time), up to 256GB expansion, supporting AI face unlocking, built in AI voice assisstant, built in 3080mAh battery, running MIUI 9 OS.
As for price, Redmi S2 3GB+32GB version sells at 999 yuan, $166, 4GB+64GB version at 1,299 yuan,$216.
