Today, Xiaomi has announced that on the 30th of this month company will be launched the last development ROM of MIUI 10, being version 10 9.8.29, After that, the engineering team will concentrate on the optimization work. MIUI has been updated for 428 weeks since the development ROM was released on August 16, 2010.
The customization system that works on top of Android and that we like so much has been incorporating novelties during all this time and it is now when Xiaomi has decided to close the life cycle of the development ROM to optimize the system. This process will take a while until we see the system again receive new improvements.
The new improvements will arrive with MIUI 11. This version is about to be presented but there is no official date on the part of the company, according to rumors it could be presented on the 29th with the arrival of the new Redmi Note 8 or later with the arrival of the Mi Mix 4.
MIUI 11 is positioned as a “new and unique operating system.” In addition to its outstanding features, the advertising problems found in MIUI will also be resolved. According to the financial report of Q1 2019 of the Xiaomi Group, the monthly users of MIUI reached 261 million, an increase of 37.3%.
