Appearance
ZUK Z2 Pro uses metal frame and dual glass design, and 2.5D glass on the front, the golden metal frame adopts curved design.The back glass and metal frame has also used damping design from Rollcage structure of ThinkPad which can protect well from pressure, collision, and dropping situation, and improve the wireless signal.
The back glass of ZUK Z2 Pro flagship version is not plane design, but certain curved to fit for your hands more. The front and back glass has combined with metal frame perfectly to make us feel more comfortable to hold by hands. ZUK Z2 Pro uses 5.1inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen to have 424PPI. It has 500nit highest brightness and 1nit lowest brightness to protect our eyes better under the strong light to see well. The black edge of the screen is only 0.05mm which is the thinnest until now.
There is a receiver on the top of screen, then next to front camera, the distance light sensor of ZUK Z2 Pro is hidden in the receiver. Then it’s ZUK U-touch button under the screen which has better holding feel than ZUK Z1. On the left top screen is the SIM card slot to support dual Nano SIMI card. Then on the right is the volume button and power button which have good feedback from the customers. On the back of the phone is back camera, dual color temperature LED light, heart rate sensor, and the ZUK logo at the bottom. So ZUK keeps the simple design for users. All of ports of ZUK Z2 Pro are at the bottom of the phone including 3.5mm earphone jack, microphone, Type C port and speaker port. ZUK Z2 Pro has 145.4*70.5*4.6/7.45 mm dimension, weighs 145g to show its light, exquisite and sleek design.
Hardware
ZUK Z2 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor, 14nm Kryo Quad core 64bit 2.5GHz frequency which is the best CPU until now. It is based on SPU of Hexagon™ 680 low power consumption to adjust the different core according to needs so as to realize the fluency of the smartphone and control better for power consumption. It uses 624MHz Adreno™ 530 3D GPU. Its Antutu test has reached to 132,906 score which is so powerful until now.
In addition to its latest and best Snapdragon 820 CPU, ZUK Z2 pro has used 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, and 64GB UFS 2.0（Gear3）5.8Gbps ROM which shows the better smoothness to play games or do multi-tasking at the same time.
ZUK Z2 Pro is built in 3100mAh battery to support quick charging. We used 5V 2.4A car charger to test charging from 7% to 100%, it will take around 100 minutes.And its quick charging power is 11W approximately.
About ZUK Z2 Pro cooling problem, we have tested charging and playing games, the indoor temperature is 24.5 degrees and when we charge the phone to 70%, ZUK Z2 Pro’s temperature is 30.7 degrees, rising 6 degrees. When we play games for one hour, ZUK Z2 pro’s temperature is 31.8 degrees, 7 degrees higher than indoor’s. So ZUK Z2 Pro has nice power control and cooling system.
About battery life, it can support 6 hours around for one night, and it consumes about 2% power, we play games continuously for 30 minutes, only consumes 8%. Overally, it can support one day use well.
ZUK Z2 Pro flagship version supports wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 5GHz and 2.4Ghz network frequency and Bluetooth 4.1, the wifi signal is also very stable.
Hardware Pressure Test:
Besides the top hardware, ZUK Z2 Pro has continued to use fingerprint module to upgrade U-Touch 2.0 to support 0.1second unlock the screen. It has nice functions for unlocking.
Besides, ZUK Z2 Pro has 10 professional sensors including first using oxygen heart rate sensor according to users’ finger to test heart rate and blood oxygen and traditional gyroscope electronic compass. It can test out the uv intensity through direct sunlight. The data is very accurate for our health management according to test.
Camera
ZUK Z2 Pro uses 13MP back camera with 1.34 μm big pixels customized ISOCELL image sensor from Samsung and ƒ/1.8 large aperture, supporting OIS/EIS dual image stabilization; and 1.4 mu m pixels 8MP pixels front-facing camera.
ZUK Z2 Pro flagship version uses the simple interface of ZUK Z1 without extra setting, in terms of functions, it has increased six funny functions such as design of rotating disk and sound effects. And the front camera increased facial detection, timing, beauty facial function and heart beating index photo taking to combine with heart rate blood oxygen sensor to test hear rate when taking photos.

In photos taking, we can obviously feel it has been improved in focus speed compared with ZUK Z1. The time of focus speed has narrowed and the successful rate of focus improves well. It can also realize instantaneous capture function. From the samples of the images, it is so vivid, and it has accurate white balance. But at the night, it needs to improve camera to take.
