The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is known to come up with the light on the pocket but heavy on specs smartphones. Some of the best MI upcoming mobile phones are expected to give a huge competition to some of the leading brands in the nation. Because Xiaomi will be announcing the Snapdragon 845 chipset powered Mi MIX 2S flagship phone on March 27. Also, the Chinese tech giant is expected to launch the Mi 7 but the launch date is yet to be announced. A recent rumor also tips the Mi 7 as coming in April or June.
Yesterday, Xiaomi officially launched the Redmi Note 5 in China and it was Xiaomi’s first full-screen smartphone that featured a dual camera setup with the pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. Apart from the Redmi Note 5, the only model using a Snapdragon 636 chip is the Redmi Note 5 Pro which was launched in India last month.
Apart release of Redmi Note 5, There is also a Mi Mix 2s that Xiaomi will release on the 27th of March. Xiaomi Mix series has been taking the full-screen line, can be said to be the originator of the full screen. Xiaomi’s latest phone is very likely to be exceptionally powerful, even for a flagship phone. The Mi Mix 2S will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845.
The poster above, from Xiaomi’s Weibo post, is currently something of a mystery, though an authentic site claims that “273,741” is the AnTuTu benchmark software score for the device. To put that number into context, the mighty Samsung Galaxy Note 8 scored 167,946 on the same test.
Also, the Chinese tech giant is expected to launch the Xiaomi Mi 7 and it will also adopt a full-screen and border-less design with under the screen fingerprint recognition technology, of course, also supports face recognition. The phone will be equipped with the most advanced Snapdragon 845 processor on the market.
It is said that compared with the previously released processors, the performance of the 845 processor has been increased by more than 20%, and the price is between 2699 yuan ($426.25) and 2999 yuan $(473.63). Regardless its performance or appearance, it is slightly better than Xiaomi 6.
