Next week, in Beijing, a new Xiaomi event will take place. Exactly June 25th, a presentation that should raise the curtain on Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro and on Xiaomi Mi Pad 4. The latter is definitely the most eagerly awaited device. A product on which rumors are not being spared, revealing every day something new. Until today we know that the heart of Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 will be the Snapdragon 660 and that there will be no fingerprint reader. The reason? Users will have a face scanner assisted by artificial intelligence algorithms.
According to new images shared online, we are able to reveal a preview of the configurations and possible prices of the tablet that in China should be available for purchase immediately after the presentation. Specifically, Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 should arrive in two configurations.
The first should offer an 8-inch diagonal screen with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. A panel under which the Snapdragon 660 is positioned with a 2.2 GHz Octa Core processor and an 850 MHz Adreno 512 GPU. In support, there would be 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory and the connectivity is WiFi only.
The second configuration would offer the same 8-inch Full HD screen diagonal, always with the Snapdragon 660 but this time supported by more generous quantities. Specifically, there would be 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. In this case, in addition to WiFi, there would also be LTE connectivity.
Two versions very similar to each other and at the same time very different, especially in everyday use. These, of course, are not the only features of Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 that will also have a multimedia compartment with two cameras. The basic model should be sold at 1499 yuan around $230 with the current exchange rate.
The most powerful model of Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, instead, should be sold at the list price of 1999 yuan, about $307 with the current exchange rate. No information, however, on the possible commercialization of the tablet outside the Chinese market.
