Umidigi is one of the featured brands in the Android segment. The future Umidigi One and One Pro futures want to cement their position with mid-range smartphones with build quality, design, and specifications.
As for design is always relative. The new Umidigi One and One Pro follow the ideology of the iPhone X with a double camera in the back corner and with a notch on the screen. The new photos of the brand do not show the front of the device, however, it was said that it will have such a monocle.
The terminal is expected to offer us a 5.9 “inch screen with 19: 9 ideology and 90% screen. That is, the margins of the smartphone will be reduced. Not as much as the iPhone X, though, right there. The new equipment arrives with glass finishes. The Pro model will feature a carbon fiber coating.
So far we know that they will arrive with the MediaTek Helio P23 processor and 32GB of internal memory in One and 64GB in the Pro. It looks like both models will offer 4GB of RAM. On the back of both phones, there is a combo with a 12MP / 5MP camera, where the large OV12870 sensor has a large f / 2.0 aperture. Theoretically the quality will be decent, however, Umidigi never surprised us in this industry.
As the brand is exploring fast, wireless charging, It’s good to see Asian companies bring this kind of technology to mid-range terminals. It is guaranteed that the One will quickly load the 5V-2A and that the One Pro will support 18W fast charging. There is also an indication that the Pro model will support 15 W wireless charging and will feature built-in NFC support with Android payment and transport tickets. There are still no release dates for the terminals but they promise a lot. It is expected that the value of new Android devices will reach around $350. We’ll know more details soon.
