It was just a matter of time, and in fact, Elephone seems to be working on a smartphone that draws a lot of inspiration, design side and beyond, from the current top of the range of Huawei, the P20 Pro! Today, a short video came from the Chinese manufacturer’s headquarters showing a new smartphone with a triple camera on the back.
From the video, you can see how the design of the back is virtually identical to that of Huawei P20 Pro, from the triple camera with LED flash arranged vertically in the upper left, to the company logo placed at the bottom in line with the camera. Even the back cover is very reminiscent of the top of the range of Huawei, with a mirror iridescent finish, although at least the color is different. At the moment there are no technical specifications or other information, nor can we know if this triple camera is working or not, since many Chinese smartphones, use the dual camera only as an aesthetic factor, often being a fake sensor.
We hope that in this case there are not even two fake sensors, but we believe that ElePhone can do a good job, as demonstrated by the recent ElePhone U and U Pro. We hope that Elephone continues to grow as with the latest flagship devices launched. If the collaboration with ArcSoft will continue with this device, we expect to see really fantastic photos taken with this triple camera.
It is really important to see Elephone working on their next top of the range as the Chinese manufacturer always tries to bring the latest trends to the masses by producing affordable price devices. We assume that more information will be available soon in the coming weeks.
