However, the company has recently unveiled the new Umidigi F1, which will be the progenitor of a completely new series of smartphones. The new F1 will also be the company’s first smartphone to adopt the new Android 9 Pie operating system.
The Android 9.0 Pie operating system on the device offers many new features, including adaptive battery, adaptive brightness, gesture navigation, full notch support and more. But the most impressive aspect of this smartphone is the incredible battery life that we expect to be “monstrous” thanks to a 5150mAh battery.
In addition, the smartphone is equipped with the recent Mediatek Helio P60 mid-range chipset that comes with artificial intelligence (AI). According to the company, artificial intelligence plays a huge role and greatly improves battery life and brightness in Android Pie. The Adaptive Battery function powered by the AI can understand how we use the smartphone, going to close the apps and services that we almost never use. Spec-wise the UMIDIGI F1 is packed with a 6.3-inch FHD+ waterdrop full screen of 2340 x 1080 pixels and in-cell LTPS display. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60(64 bit) Octa-Core AI processor coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and a Mali-G72 GPU for graphics-intensive tasks.
And it has 128GB internal storage, with up to 256GB expansion via microSD. Moreover, the F1 equips with a massive 5150mAh battery with 18W fast charging as well as NFC. In terms of the camera, it’s got the dual camera 16MP + 8MP setup with F/1.7 aperture, while the front-side selfie camera is 16MP.
