Chinese Huawei is one of the most effective mobile producers and is gradually gaining next percentage points in sales lists. If it continues this trend, it can quickly become the best creator in the world. This position allows the Chinese to focus on innovation, which is worth highlighting the latest patent filed by the broker brand in November 2018. In February, it was published by two agencies WIPO and EUIPO, giving it global protection.
It includes the look of the future smartphone Huawei, which was illustrated by the well-known portal LetsGoDigital. According to the concept, the new flagship is to receive an almost “frameless” display, all thanks to getting rid of the selfie camera and leaving a minimal indent on the ToF 3D sensor.
The front panel of the model would be very similar to the Huawei P30, while the characteristic notch thinner even more so as to provide advanced face recognition technology.
Surely you will ask now: where will you find the selfie camera? In previous patents, Huawei revealed a plan for a smartphone with a slider, but do not expect it in this case. The creators want to risk and give the user a second screen on the back of the case – just like the Vivo NEX Dual Display.
The matrix is to be small and square, which should be enough for selfie fans to view the photos. A total of three cameras, including a periscope lens with lossless optical zoom. The system can be placed horizontally, and therefore completely different from the series Mate and P.
The project seems extraordinary, but at the same time very risky, because few producers would put a stop to the selfie camera in their flagship. Huawei can use this concept or part of it in the October Mate 30 models or decide on a safer slider.
Of course, nothing is settled, and the obtained patent does not prove anything, therefore, until the details are clarified, we can draw our attention to slightly more mundane Huawei P30 smartphones.
