Mi Mix 3 5G and the Mi 9 are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. However, as revealed by XDA Developers, the Xiaomi is currently working on two other Snapdragon 855-powered handphones to be released in late 2019. With the code name Davinci and Raphael, the two upcoming devices have a pop-out camera model.
Today a concept creator published a compilation of renderings the video with a 3D presentation of the upcoming Xiaomi’s Smartphone with Pop-Up camera. This concept design itself is quite interesting, actually.
This conceptual Smartphone is made out of metal and ceramic, and its backside is curved quite a bit, actually. The device’s frame comes with chamfered edges. This concept phone comes with a 6-Gene in-display fingerprint scanner, while it sports a 6.6-inch 2560×1120 IPS LCD display. Corning’s Gorilla Glass 6 protection is included on top of the display and IP68 certified.
Xiaomi’s logo can be found on the back, and it’s quite pronounced thanks to a ceramic strip that goes over it, while vertically-aligned cameras are included in the upper portion of the phone’s backside. Bezels are not included on this phone and the display sports rounded corners.
The designer opted to include a triple camera on the back of this phone and the largest sensor is a 52MP one, while a dual-LED, dual-tone flash is also included. while he also envisioned some specs for this Xiaomi Smartphone concept. while a Type-C USB port is included on the bottom of the phone.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor which is manufactured by TSMC 7nm. The highest frequency is 2.84GHz, joined the Snapdragon X55 chip that can support the operation of the 5G network, while the device comes with 10GB / 12GB of RAM and 1284GB / 256GB / 512GB of storage.
A 16MP camera is included on the front, though it’s tucked away inside of the phone, it’s a pop-up camera, similar to the one on the Vivo NEX. Unfortunately, the 3.5mm headphone jack is not offering in it, as is a 5400mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 4 fast charging.
This novel design and powerful specifications indicate a premium price tag along with the Samsung S10. At present, it is not clear how this smartphone will be marketed to the public, but there are several possibilities.
