Nubia Red Magic 3 was finally launched in China. The gaming phone contains a 5000mAh battery, a display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 855 processor, and several RAM memory options. The phone supports 30 W fast charging technology that can provide up to an hour of play with just 10 minutes of charging. The Red Magic 3 gaming telephone also incorporates liquid cooling technology with an internal turbofan that increases effective heat transfer by up to 500%.
Nubia Red Magic 3 is priced in China at 2899 yuan (around $430) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB, 3100 yuan (about $460) storage option for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option, 3499 yuan (about $519) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB and 4,299 yuan (about $638) storage option for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option.
Turning to specifications, Red Magic 3 runs on Android Pie and supports dual-SIM slots. The phone sports a 6.65-inch AMOLED HDR display with FHD + resolution (1080 × 2340 pixels) with 90Hz refresh rate and 430 nit brightness. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 855 processor combined with 6GB of RAM, 8GB of RAM and 12GB of RAM options. Internal storage options include 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
The rear camera includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f / 1.7 aperture and the front-facing camera includes a 16MP sensor with aperture / 2.0 and AI beauty features. The phone has a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charge support. It is touted to allow an hour of play in just 10 minutes of charging.
The phone has two front stereo speakers, DTS: X and 3D audio technologies that create a cinematic soundscape. Users can also customize RGB lighting with different effects and over 16.8 million colors with the Red Magic light effects editor. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Type-C USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, 4G LTE and more. The dimensions of Red Magic 3 measure at 171.7 × 78.5 × 9.65mm and the phone weigh 215 grams.
