At a press conference in Taiwan, In addition to the new mid-range U19e smartphone model, HTC has also released the more affordable Desire 19+ that is the company’s first triple rear camera smartphone which stands out for its stylish appearance, especially in the blue colors, and also quite decent technical characteristics. Let’s review all its specifications in the technical sheet.
Starting with the aesthetic section, The front is dominated by the screen, one of the largest in the history of HTC. it features a 6.2-inch IPS / LCD panel with HD + resolution (1,520 x 720 pixels), aspect ratio 19: 9 and notch in the form of a drop.
Under the hood, the HTC Desire 19+ incorporates the MediaTek Helio P35 processor, a 12-nanometer SoC introduced last December. This has eight Cortex A53 cores at a maximum speed of 2.3 GHz and the PowerVR GE8320 GPU at 680 MHz.
Processor aside, the HTC Desire 19+ comes in 2 versions of RAM and internal storage on which the price will depend. Specifically, the most economical model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, while the most advanced up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. In both cases, it can be extended with microSD cards.
In the back, we find the fingerprint reader-centered with the vertical axis of the terminal and, in the upper left corner, the triple camera in vertical format and the LED flash. In the white model, the third lens has a golden shade around it and, in the blue has a red.
The rear camera has a configuration of 13MP + 8MP + 5MP f / 1.85 whose functions are a normal angle, 120º wide angle and ToF sensor for depth. The selfies will go hand in hand with a 13MP sensor.
For the battery, 3850mAh that will be responsible for bringing to life Android 9 Foot makeup with the HTC Sense customization layer. In terms of connectivity, the device has NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi dual-band AC and LTE category 6.
HTC Desire 19+ comes in two variants, the 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage is priced at TWD 9,990 (approx $318), while the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage cost TWD 10,990 (approx $350). The HTC Desire 19+ will go on sale around early July in “Star Can Blue” (Blue) and “Jasmine White” (White) colors.
