Usually, the crowdfunding projects of Xiaomi are quite interesting and even the last of the series seems to promise well: it is, in fact, a sonic electric toothbrush for children.
Created by the start-up for household appliances Xiaomi Soocas, it is called Children’s Sonic Toothbrush K5 and is a toothbrush made specifically to encourage children to learn the best habits regarding tooth cleaning.
The toothbrush comes with a base equipped with a bear-shaped speaker and every time a child removes the toothbrush from the base, the speaker begins to tell a story lasting about 2 minutes, which is enough time to allow the baby to properly wash your teeth.
Among the features of the new Xiaomi toothbrush, we find an engine that vibrates 31,000 times per minute (without neglecting the delicacy so as not to damage the child’s teeth or gums) and 2 types of heads, one for children aged 3 to 6 years and one another for those aged 6 to 12 years.
The battery life is also pretty good. Soocas claims the toothbrush can go last one month on a full charge, granted that the toothbrush is used only twice a day and it is also can connect to Mijia app of Xiaomi. The current crowdfunding price is set at 219 yuan (about $32). It’s not a bad option for a children’s toothbrush, at least as far as the specs and features go.
