Since owning the Nokia brand, HMD Global has always tended to “revive” smartphones that are considered “legendary” in the past by Finnish phone companies. Recently, a device that is supposed to be Nokia 2720 2019 suddenly appeared at a censorship agency in Thailand and listed on the feature phone list with 4G connectivity. Accordingly, the Nokia 2720 will be codenamed Nokia TA-1170.
After certified in Thailand, now Nokia TA-1170 has appeared in 3C certification in China, but this is not a smartphone but a basic 4G-enabled phone, according to information on 3C, it is expected to be Nokia 2720 2019.
Nokia 2720 is believed to have two versions of Gray and Black, it has a model number of TA-1175. Therefore, it is possible that TA-1170 is also a version of Nokia 2720 2019. Nokia 2720 2019 is expected to cost 100 Euro (about $111).
Previously, another smartphone with the Nokia model name TA-1196 also gained certification in Thailand. In addition, leak reports show that Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 will have the same design.
At the FCC Communications Certification Authority, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 are confirmed to have a 6.3-inch or larger screen. The FCC certification also suggests that the Snapdragon 660 chip will be used for models like Nokia TA-1178, TA-1181 and TA-1196. Interestingly, Geekbench also confirmed Nokia 6.2 Starlord and Nokia 7.2 Daredevil will use Snapdragon 660 processor.
Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 are also believed to be equipped with a 48MP rear camera sensor as the main camera, while the other two cameras may be wide-angle sensors and depth sensors. All 3 cameras will be on a circular module like the previous Lumia series. In the September 5 event in Berlin, the HMD will unveil many products, So, everything will be clear on September 5, we will wait patiently for more.
