At the beginning of this month rumors began to arrive about the imminent arrival of a new tablet of Huawei to compete with the Apple iPad Pro, but now it has already been confirmed that the existence of the MatePad Pro is official.
In fact it was Richard Yu himself, the CEO of Huawei, who joined the tide of rumors by publishing a small joke on the Chinese social networks: the company’s classic invitation to present products, this time, they added some small distorted parts on both sides, »hiding» the name of the product.
However, as we say, it is nothing more than a small wink, the word “MatePad” being easily intuited. In the same way, it also sends us the date of presentation of the same, within this month, next Monday, November 25.
Through another poster image, we can conclude that this upcoming MatePad will have a multi-screen collaborative experience.
In this way, all the images and features filtered to date, which advocate a tablet visually very similar to the iPad Pro of 2018, including remarkably thin screen bezels, a perforated front camera, a dual-camera configuration in the back, and the inclusion of a touch pen.
In addition, some images have also been filtered in which we can see a case with an integrated keyboard, which would repeat the short-distance design of the accessory presented by Apple.
As for its interior, we find less information, although everything indicates that the Huawei MatePad Pro has a Kirin 990 processor, present in its current flagship Mate 30 Pro, in addition to up to 8GB of RAM.
Once again, the event will be held in Shanghai, so it would be assumed that the Huawei focuses on the first limited launch to China at the moment. Even so, if these specifications are met, we would find one of the few and best Android tablets on the market.
