HMD Global has made an announcement through the official Twitter account of Nokia. In the publication, they reveal that they will hold an event on December 5. The event will be intended for the launch of a new member of the Nokia family. While the tweet did not reveal any details about the next phone, there are a variety of device options that we hope will be revealed that day. Below are some of the phones expected to be launched.
The Nokia 8.2 is the phone that is most likely to be presented on December 5. HMD Global launched Nokia 8.1 on December 5 of last year, so it makes sense that its successor will be presented exactly one year later. The manufacturer has not yet announced phone for the premium mid-range segment this year, so this is your chance to do so.
Nokia 8.2
There are reports suggesting that the phone will come with a 735 Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. This chipset should be announced at the Qualcomm Technology Summit scheduled a few days before the Nokia event.
It has also been reported that it will come in different configurations with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Other rumored features are a 64MP quad-camera configuration, a hidden front camera in a pop-up module and a price that would not be not so affordable.
Nokia 5.2
There are several models of the manufacturer of 2018 as the Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 6.1 and Nokia 7.1 have received their corresponding successors. However, so far HMD Global has not yet announced a successor to the Nokia 5.1.
December 5 is a good day to announce the Nokia 5.2, although it will be four months late. However, HMD Global launched only Nokia 8.1 at last year’s event. Therefore, they can do the same this year and announce-only Nokia 8.2.
Nokia 2.3
Details about the alleged mid-range Nokia 2.3 phone leaked earlier this month. Filtration not only confirmed the name of the phone, but also the 3 color variants in which it will be available. It is reported that the phone is a slight improvement over the Nokia 2.2 that was announced in June. These are the three devices that will probably be announced that day. But there is a great possibility that we get a single device and that should be the Nokia 8.2.
